June 20, 2005 - Units from the St. Charles City, Central County, and Cottleville fire departments, responded to a condo fire at 1 Glen Echo Drive at around 9:30 am.
First due company reported structure half involved upon their arrival.
Firefighters battled the blaze for around an hour, with all departments working seemlessly together on the mutal-aid call.
Several residents were displaced from their condo units because of the smoke, heat and water damage, though only two of the four units in the building suffered actual fire damage.
There were two cases of minor smoke inhalation.
