At 3:15 on June 15th, the Cheshire Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fully involved structure fire.

On arrival, of the first arriving companies found a one story wood frame single family home with heavily smoke pushing from the eves of the roof and heavy fire showing from the rear.

The Fire department began in interior attack with two 1 3/4 inch line truck #2 opened the roof and searched the building.

The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes using 3 engines one truck and 38 firefighters responded.

Two civilians escaped with two dogs, and two firefighters were seen by E.M.S. on scene.

One recived a burn to the neck and the other sustained a knee injury when he fell threw a hole burned through the floor.
