Three Transported by Air Ambulance in Texas Accident

This was the third major accident at that intersection in the last two weeks.

At 15:42 on March 28, 2005 two elderly ladies driving a four door car made a left hand turn from US 67 bypass to a side street in Cleburne, Texas. Their vehicle was struck in the right front fender and passenger door.

The Cleburne Fire Department dispatched all three of their engines to the scene. Extraction was required.

Three careflite air ambulances were brought in from Fort Worth and Dallas to transport the two ladies from the car and the driver of the van. Careflite ground ambulance transported a child from the van. The passenger in the car was in extremely critical condition.

The two lane Highway 67 loop was closed to provide a landing zone. This was the third major accident at that intersection in the last two weeks.
