Battalion 1 reported a five-story vacant building with fire showing from the second and third floors with smoke throughout.
The All Hands box was struck on arrival. Companies went into operation with multiple 2 1/2" hand lines and the ladder pipe. Multiple water supplies were secured.
An extra engine and ladder were called above the all hands.
Crews knocked the bulk of the fire as a recon team was sent in to perform a search. All searches were negative.
The fire was under control in 90 minutes.
Companies stretched hand lines in the building to hit hot spots.
