St. Paul Boulevard firefighters responded along with mutual aid from Ridge Culver and Point Pleasant fire departments to this structure fire on Hudson Avenue in Irondequoit on Sunday afternoon.
A mattress fire spread through the two-unit apartment home. When fire crews arrived, an occupant was trying to douse the fire.
Three people got out safely. Firefighters rescued a dog and a rabbit.
