Canadian Firefighters Handle Residential Fire

  At 12:45 p.m. Tuesday the fire department of Ste-adèle responded to a general alarm for a fire in a residence on Rolland street. The fire scene was located 40 miles from Montréal in the Québec province of Canada. Soon a request for assistance was sent to the fire services of the Municipalities of St-sauveur-Piedmont, ste-Marguerite-du-lac-masson and St-Hippolyte. Eighteen firefighters participed in the operations and had to work until late in the afternoon to extinguish the last of the fire.

At 12:45 p.m. Tuesday the fire department of Ste-adèle responded to a general alarm for a fire in a residence on Rolland street. The fire scene was located 40 miles from Montréal in the Québec province of Canada.

Soon a request for assistance was sent to the fire services of the Municipalities of St-sauveur-Piedmont, ste-Marguerite-du-lac-masson and St-Hippolyte.

Eighteen firefighters participed in the operations and had to work until late in the afternoon to extinguish the last of the fire.

The building is badly damaged and possibly a total loss.
