N.J. Crews Hit House Fire

On March 9, Collingswood was dispatched at 4:30 p.m. to a reported dwelling fire.While en route, Communications reported that an occupant was possibly still inside. However, the person  was outside prior to fire department arrival.Squad 16's crew found heavy fire at the rear of the dwelling. The all hands box was struck by  command.

Squad 16's crew found heavy fire at the rear of the dwelling. The all hands box was struck by  command.

A water supply was secured as companies led off with a 1 3/4" hand line with fire conditions in the rear. A second hand line was placed in operation as fire extended to the attic area of the dwelling.

The fire was brought under control with no injuries.
