Eight people were left temporarily homeless Saturday after fire damaged thier house on N. North Street.
The occupants first noticed the fire outside their house at about 8:15 a.m. according to the Observer-Dispatch.
The flames quickly spread up the structure, and were fanned by high winds.
Due to conditions, firefighters fought the blaze from the outside.
