Fire Displaces Eight in New York

Eight people were left temporarily homeless Saturday after fire damaged thier house on N. North Street.The occupants first noticed the fire outside their house at about 8:15 a.m. according to the Observer-Dispatch.The flames quickly spread up the structure, and were fanned by high winds.Due to conditions, firefighters fought the blaze from the outside.
