Five N.J. Firefighters Hurt at Feb.9 Fire

  Five firefighters were injured Feb. 9 while battling a four-alarm house fire in Union Township, N.J.One firefighter required surgery for an undisclosed injury.Crews were evacuated from the cluttered two-and-a-half story house due to deteroriating conditions.The fire was declared under control around 1:30 p.m.Mutual aid departments that operated on scene were Elizabeth, Cranford, Linden, Summit and Roselle.
