Crews Battle Indianapolis House Fire

On Feb. 10, crews from Indianapolis and two other departments battled a house fire on Kerwood Drive. The fire started in the garage, and quickly spread to the house. Firefighters battled the flames for several hours before getting the fire under control. Among issues faced by crews included lack of hydrants, bitter temperatures, ice and snow. There were no injuries. Pike and Carmel fire companies assisted.
