N.J. Firefighters Battle House Fire

  On Jan. 6, at 10:22 a.m.,  a dwelling fire was dispatched in Pennsauken at 7520 Boulevard Ave at 10:22 A.M. FM 11-4 reported heavy fire conditions on the first floor from single-family dwelling. The All Hands box was struck. Command ordered all companies out of the building as conditions worsened, and live ammunition began to go off. Command reported all crews were at a safe distance from the building as they set up for defensive operations.

Command ordered all companies out of the building as conditions worsened, and live ammunition began to go off.

Command reported all crews were at a safe distance from the building as they set up for defensive operations.

The ladder pipe and multiple 2 1/2" handlines were placed in operation as dwelling was fully involved.

Crews remained in defensive operations as the fire was brought under control.

No injuries were reported.

The Pennsauken Fire Department and Camden County Fire Marshal’s office have the fire under investigation.

The American Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.
