N.C. Salvage Company Structures Burn

  Firefighters from Crowder’s Mountain Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Union Road, New Hope Fire,Agriculture Center Tryonta  and Community battled a two-alarm structure fire on Saturday night in Gaston County, N.C.At 5:06 p.m., crews were dispatched to a commercial structure on fire at 615 Davis Heights Drive.UR Deputy Chief Craig Huffstetler reported multiple structures fully involved with fire. Crews from both stations used attack lines to battle the structures.

Firefighters from Crowder’s Mountain Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Union Road, New Hope Fire,Agriculture Center Tryonta  and Community battled a two-alarm structure fire on Saturday night in Gaston County, N.C.

At 5:06 p.m., crews were dispatched to a commercial structure on fire at 615 Davis Heights Drive.

UR Deputy Chief Craig Huffstetler reported multiple structures fully involved with fire.

Crews from both stations used attack lines to battle the structures.

Approximately 50 firefighters from all stations overcame the challenging high winds to bring the massive fire at Roseberry Salvage Company under control.

The structures that caught fire were unoccupied except for a dog that was rescued by firefighters.

There were no injuries.

The Gaston County Fire Investigations Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire.
