Vermont Crew Handles Crash
 Volunteers of the Orleans Fire Department, Orleans Emergency Squad, Barton Ambulance, Glover Ambulance responded to a crash involving a pickup truck on Dec. 24.
AÂ Ford Pickup left the road and crashed into a tree off Maple Hill Road in Orleans.
Orleans Fire Department under the command of Chief Ron Hoyt, had to use extrication tools to open the driver's door. Â
The driver and his two passengers of whom is said to be 16, were taken to North Country Hospital in Newport Each of the three responding ambulances transported a patient.
Reports indicated the driver being combative.
Vermont State Police are investigating the possibly of alcohol being part of the cause as well as excessive speed.
