Tire Pile Burns in Arizona

  A pile of tires burned Thursday in Maricopa, Az. Crews are on the scene with a pile of illegally dumped tires covering an approximately 30 foot by 30 foot area. The fire is currently contained. There is a very large, low column of smoke that is covering parts of the city. All residents with a history of breathing problems are advised to stay indoors with their windows closed. All residents are advised to limit their time outside until the column of smoke is reduced.
