On the Morning of June 2, 2005, Holyoke, Massachusetts Fire Rescue Department responded to the 200 block of Pine street for a reported structure fire.

On the Morning of June 2, 2005, Holyoke, Massachusetts Fire Rescue Department responded to the 200 block of Pine street for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival first in units were presented with a 2 and 1/2 story Wood frame MFD.

The first arriving Deputy chief ordered a 2nd alarm.

The fire was not declared under control until 11:20 am.

Mutual aide to the fireground came from the City of Chicopee, Massachusetts in the form of CFD Engine Co. 5 acting as the R.I.T. team, and one Engine Co. each from the Cities of West Springfield and Northampton, Massachusetts to Holyoke Fire Department Head Quarters for coverage.

The Red cross assisted all 3 families that were displaced by this fire.
