Flames From Pa. Building Visible for Miles

  On Dec. 2, West Ridge FD Tower 479 was dispatched to assist Union City Fire Department on a multi-alarm building fire on the south side of the Union City.It was dispatched as the eighth due ladder company.They could observe fire from miles away.As Tomassive header was viewed miles away.They set up on the A/B corner next to Ladder 109 from Corry.Later, both had to reposition due to extreme heat.The original call came in around 11:40 a.m.

West Ridge is originally dispatched for an engine transfer assignment to the Belle Valley Fire Dept. Fire companies from Erie County, Crawford County, Warren County, Millcreek Township and North East were on scene.
