At 10:20 am Jefferson Township (New Jersey Lake Hopatcong section) Fire Company #2, Co. #1, and Jefferson Rescue were dispatched to a working fire.
Upon the Arrival there was heavy smoke and fire was blowing out form the building.
Mutual Aid was requested from Picatinny Arsenal Fire Department, Mt. Arlington FD, and Roxbury FD's .
The fire was quickly contained but not before the house suffered heavy smoke and fire damage.
All occupants of the house escaped without injury.
The Fire is still under investigation.
