2-Alarm Tractor Trailor Fire in Camden City, New Jersey

Engine 8 and Ladder 2 were dispatched for a reported truck fire on Highway 676 at the Atlantic Ave. exit.

Engine 8 and Ladder 2 were dispatched for a reported truck fire on Highway 676 at the Atlantic Ave exit.

Engine 8 arrived to find a tractor trailor heavily envolved in flames. Battalion 1 was added to the box.

Engine 8 led off with a 2 1/2 handline as Squad 7 was added for water supply.

Battalion 1 requested an additional Engine (10) shortly before striking the 2nd alarm.

Responding on the 2nd were Rescue 1, Engine 6, Ladder 3, Battalion 2, and Car 3.

The truck was full of lumber at the time of fire.

Crews extinguished the blaze only to find a massive fuel clean up operation.

Car 3 requested the Camden ISAT team, multiple sandtrucks, and the Coast Guard as well.

Crews also worked to secure storm drains.

Crews were on scene for a long duration of time to clean up the fuel.
