On Sunday April, 13, 2003, Fairfield, Connecticut firefighters along with Paramedics from the Bridgeport, Connecticut division of AMR worked to extricate the driver of a vehicle pinned following an early morning, single vehicle rollover on the Merritt Parkway (Rt.15) between exits 44 and 46.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was removed by firefighters from Ladder Co.2 and Engine Co.5 and transported to St.Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport for further evaluation. Shift Battalion (Car 3) assumed command for the incident and placed all units in service approx. 45 mins after arrival on scene.
