New York Firefighters Battle House Fire

On April 5, 2003, the City of Geneva Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1302 hours. First units on the scene reported heavy fire and smoke showing from the structure.

On April 5, 2003, the City of Geneva Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 1302 hours. First units on the scene reported heavy fire and smoke showing from the structure.

The residents were home at the time but, due to the quick response by firefighter Michael McCormack, they were evacuated unharmed.

Last Geneva units cleared the scene at 1423 hours. The fire is believed to have been started by a faulty generator exhaust.
