On May 1, 2005 Lahoma Lee Thurman and Michael Lee Patton were united in marriage at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Heritage Museum Chapel in Pooler, Georgia.
The bride is a Paramedic with MedStar Ambulance Services and a Volunteer Firefighter with Pooler Fire Rescue. The groom is a Firefighter with Pooler Fire Rescue and an EMT-Intermediate with MedStar.
After the ceremony, the bride donned her bunker boots so that she and the groom could be chauffeured to the reception in Pooler Fire engine 26.
After a code three entrance, the couple was introduced and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife.
The couple celebrated their wedding into the night surrounded by family and friends.
