Texas Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Commercial Building Fire

  Fort Worth firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in a commercial building on Sunday morning, Sept. 5.At about 8 a.m. units were called to the Meadow Burke Manufacturing facility at 7000 Will Rogers Blvd. The business manufactures concrete parts, such as rebar.

At about 8 a.m. units were called to the Meadow Burke Manufacturing facility at 7000 Will Rogers Blvd. The business manufactures concrete parts, such as rebar. 

Engine 28 arrived to find heavy smoke from the large structure.  Units encountered difficulty when trying to force entry. Once they were able to enter the structure, they knocked down the fire with a 2 1/2-inch hoseline. No injuries were reported. A total of nine engines, four trucks and four chiefs responded to the fire.

The fire caused $100,000 in damages
