Haverford Township, Pennsylvania firefighters arrived on scene at approx 7:15 pm to find the back deck and soffet fully involved with extension into the rear of this 2-1/2 story dwelling.

Ladder-3 (Brookline), arrived first and led off with a 2" handline to the interior of the home. Crews from Manoa E-53 arrived soon after to supply Ladder-3 with water and stretch a 2nd handline to the outside rear of the bldg. Llanerch E-22 dropped a 5" supply line to feed the fire scene. The fire was quickly knocked down on the inside, but there was a lot of opening up to be done in this older home. Fire had extended thru the soffet and into the pantry and walls. Extensive damage occurred to the rear of the home both inside and out on the 1st floor.
