Personal Injury Accident Rescue on Route 32 in Maryland

Station 6, in Savage, was alerted for a reported personal injury accident on Rt. 32 in the area of the Boulevard (Rt.1).

Station 6 (Savage) was alerted for a reported personal injury accident on Rt. 32 in the area of the Boulevard (Rt.1).

Units responding included Chief's 6, 6A, 6C, E-61, RE-62, P-65 and A-66.

Howard County then upgraded the call adding BC-1, EMS-1, E-101, P-105 and Tower 10, due to receiving word of the incident involving a concrete pump truck overturned.

Chief 6 (Hitt) arrived to find a concrete pump truck on its side approximately 40 feet over an embankment near Corridor Road. The driver was apparently ejected and was subsequently transferred by P-65 to Shock Trauma.

A-66 was re-assigned to a chest pains call at the Truck Stop.

Special Operations (Station 10 units) assisted with leaking fuel, and other fluids.
