On the afternoon of April 16th, 2005, C-Shift personnel for the Sheridan, Colorado Fire Department were dispatched to an unknown type fire in the area of Western Metals Recycling, a large scrap metal recycler. Seeing a large smoke plume from the station, crews knew that they were in for a long afternoon.
