Two Injured in Santa Monica, California Crash

Two people were injured when they lost control of their car.

The car hit a small hill, became airborne and crashed into a house on the 1200 block of Georgina Avenue in the City of Santa Monica.

The impact of the crash brought down a wall, waking up shocked residents.

Utilizing the "Jaws of Life" it took Santa Monica Firefighters 45 minutes to extricate both victims and transport them in stable condition to local area hospitals.

Damage was extensive.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the early morning crash.
