Bullville, New York Firefighters Extricate One at Rollover

On Friday morning, March 18, 2005 at about 9 a.m. the Bullville Fire Department was alerted for a Rollover MVA with entrapment.

On Friday morning, March 18, 2005 at about 9 a.m. the Bullville Fire Department was alerted for a Rollover MVA with entrapment. The accident occurred on Rt. 17K near the entrance to the Winding Hills Park in the Town of Crawford.

Bullville Command (Chief Charlie Schwope) arrived and confirmed that extrication would be required and requested 1 Heavy Rescue from Montgomery to assist at the scene. ALS crew on scene also requested a medevac launch and the Montgomery FD established the LZ at Winding Hills Park.

Assisting Bullville & Montgomery on scene were units from the Pine Bush Ambulance Corps, Mobile Life Support Services, Town of Montgomery & Crawford PD's, New York State Police and Deputy Fire Coordinator Anthony Trapini. After an extended extrication, the patient was flown to St Francis in Poughkeepsie for further evaluation of injuries.
