Firefighters made a dramatic effort to pull four occupants out of a burning dwelling in Harrisburg, PA early Sunday, February 2, 2003.

B platoon firefighters made a dramatic effort to pull four occupants out of a burning dwelling in Harrisburg, PA early Sunday, February 2, 2003. All victims were found unconscious, quickly removed, and were given CPR at the scene. A fifth occupant jumped from the second floor window prior to FD arrival. Despite brave actions three residents have died and a fourth is in critical condition.

Shortly before 0400 hours Squad 8, Wagon 4, Towers 1 & 3 and Acting Battalion Chief 8 responded on Task Force 1 to a reported structure fire at 1353 Vernon Street in the city
