BRIDGEPORT, CT - At 9:42 a.m. February 22, 2005 the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to a multi-vehicle accident on the Route 8/25 Connector between exits 3 and 2.
Engine 12, Engine 16, and Rescue 5 responded to the incident, and all were delayed to the scene due to the heavy volume of traffic caused from the accident.
Five people were injured in the crash, and firefighters had to use the spreaders to remove one patient.
