Buckeye Fatal House Fire

Units from Buckeye, Buckeye Valley and Goodyear battled a 1st alarm house fire in the 1500 block of Ironwood Dr. in Buckeye at 3:45 this morning. The home was heavily involved in fire when the 1st units arrived. One person was trapped inside and rescued by firefighters. That person died of their injuries. The house next door also sustained damage due to the fire. No one was inside that home. The cause is under investigation. Contact Chief Costello of the Buckeye FD for further information.
