On January 22, 2003 at 9:00 am, Carver, Massachusetts firefighters from companies one and three were called to a report of car fire on the south side of town.

Firefighters arrived quickly and found a car well involved. Company three firefighters arrived first and used a 1 3/4" trash line with class A foam to attack the fire.

Firefighters faced temperatures of 14 degrees with a twenty-five mile per hour wind. The fire was quickly brought under control and damage was confined to the engine compartment but damage to that area was severe.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
