On Tuesday February 15, 2005 a night fire destroyed a T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant on the Black Horse Pike in Washington Township.(Gloucester County, New Jersey)

Washington Township firefighters were on location minutes after receiving calls for smoke coming the kitchen of this large family restaurant.

Crews made an interior attack, but the fast moving fire quickly spread. Within a short time flames were coming through the roof. Three ladder companies were now set up and firefighters placed numerous deck guns and large hand lines in service for a exterior attack.

Over 100 firefighters, from two counties, fought the fire for over 2 hours before it was placed under control.

Firefighters from Whitman Square, Grenlock, Hurffville, Glassboro, Williamstown Pitman,Washington Township Ambulance, Camden County, Blackwood and Winslow Township units were on the scene thought the night.

It wasn't until Wednesday morning before Fire Investigator's were able to get inside to check for cause of the 3-alarm blaze.
