Stillwater, Oklahoma Firefighters Battle House Fire

Responding units observed a smoke column while enroute and were advised neighbors were unsure if the house was occupied.

Stillwater Stations 1, 2 and 3 were dispatched to a house fire at 3220 S. Green Valley Drive at 12:34 PM on January 22, 2005. The temperature was in the 30's with a strong NW wind. The house was located outside the city limits in a rural housing development. Units responding (Pumpers 1 and 3, Ambulance 1, Rural 2 [Tanker] and Medic 1) were under the command of Battalion Chief G. Stanton.

Responding units observed a smoke column while enroute and were advised neighbors were unsure if the house was occupied or not.
