Florida Apartment Fire Extinguished

  OCALA, FL. – Ocala firefighters extinguished fire in one apartment, and kept it from spreading throughout the duplex. The afternoon fire caused a considerable amount of smoke in the neighborhood, which could be seen several blocks away. Firefighters arrived at 1:50 p.m., and the fire was placed under control seventeen minutes later.

The afternoon fire caused a considerable amount of smoke in the neighborhood, which could be seen several blocks away. Firefighters arrived at 1:50 p.m., and the fire was placed under control seventeen minutes later.

The apartments located at 2026 Northwest 14 Street were not occupied when firefighters arrived, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
