Rochester firefighters responded last night for multiple calls reporting a house fire on Ackerman St.
The crew of Quint 7 went on location with heavy fire showing from a two-story wood frame. They further requested a second alarm.
Command reported an exterior attack on the original fire building with an interior attack on the exposure. Personnel on Truck 4 responded as the RIC while the second alarm companies were Engine 1,13 and Quint & Midi 6.
The fire was under control in about one hour.
