MD Firefighters Battle House Fire

On December 25, 2002, at approximately 10pm firefighters from Baltimore County recieved a call for a report of a house fire with people trapped.

On December 25, 2002, at approximately 10pm firefighters from Baltimore County recieved a call for a report of a house fire with people trapped.

Firefighters arrived within minutes to find the 3 story wood framed structure well involved, and command immediately called for the second alarm.

Firefighters quickly learned that 3 civilians had made it out of the fire safely and were at a nearby church, however there was still one occupant left inside the blaze.

Crews battled the blaze, but were hampred by high winds and the cold. Firefighters from all over western Baltimore County, as well as firefighters fro Howard and Anne Arundel Counties assisted in extinguishing the fire.

One civilian was reported injured at the incident, no injuries to firefighters were reported.

the cause fo the fire was not reported at the time of this story.
