December 2004 was another record setting month for Camden, New Jersey Firefighters.

December 2004 was another record setting month for Camden, New Jersey Firefighters.

Rain and cold weather made for some hot fire action.

There were 16 "All Hands" fires, two second alarm fires, one 3 alarm fire plus hundreds of other alarms.

Battalion Chief 1 had 140 Runs and Rescue 1 topped off with 177 Runs for December.

Throughout the calendar year of 2004, Camden firefighters would battle 13 2-alarm fires, 2 3-alarm fires, 3 4-alarm or greater fires, and 142 All Hands working fires.

The total runs for the year were as follows:

  • Engine Co. 1 had 1390 Runs
  • Engine Co. 6 had 1172 Runs
  • Squad Co. 7 had 1665 Runs
  • Engine Co. 8 had 1171 Runs
  • Engine Co. 9 had 1342 Runs
  • Engine Co. 10 had 954 Runs
  • Engine Co. 11 had 937 Runs
  • Ladder Co. 1 had 1208 Runs
  • Ladder Co. 2 had 779 Runs
  • Ladder Co. 3 had 996 Runs
  • Rescue Co. 1 had 2050 Runs
  • Battalion Chief 1 had 1904 Runs
  • Battalion Chief 2 had 1611 Runs
  • Car 3 Tour Commander had 88 Runs
  • Fire Boat 1 had 49 Runs
