Doylestown, PA Firefighters Battle House Fire

Tactical Box 79-26 was dispatched at 1329 hours on December 8, 2002 for a reported dwelling fire at 1073 Almshouse Road, Doylestown Township.

Units arrived with heavy fire conditions on Sides 1 & 2 of a 3-1/2 story, wood sided dwelling.

Companies quickly went to exterior operations with collapse imminent.

The residents were not home at the time of the fire. Several family pets were lost in the fire.
