Fla. FFs Hit House Fire

  OCALA, FLA.. -- Ocala Fire Rescue responded to a house fire which resulted in one resident being transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire occurred at 2014 Southwest 5 St. Firefighters responded at 10:32 a.m. to find heavy smoke coming from the one-story concrete block house. The resident on the front lawn. He told fire officials he returned home to find the house on fire, and entered the dwelling breathing in some smoke. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, although there was extensive damage throughout the house from smoke and fire.

Twenty firefighters responded, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
