Keene, Texas Firefighters Extricate Crash Victim

Firefighters used the "Jaws of Life" to cut out backseat to extract passenger of vehicle 2 through the back hatch.

On Monday morning, November 18th, there was a two vehicle accident - FM2280 and US67 - in Johnson County, Texas.

Vehicle 1 made a left turn in front of vehicle 2 and was hit broad side on right front fender and door.

The accelerator stuck open on vehicle 1 until it ran out oil from ruptured lines.

It traveled a couple of hundred feet before stopping.

Both drivers and passengers in vehicle 2 were transported to hospitals by Keene VFD and American Medicat Response ambulances.

Keene VFD used "jaws of life" to cut out backseat to extract passenger of vehicle 2 through the back hatch.
