Pot House Burns in Minn.

Minneapolis firefighters found more than they bargained for when they were dispatched to smoke in the area on Nov. 24.

Crews found heavy smoke coming from a boarded up home in the 3000 block of 15 Avenue South and requested a full assignment.

Crews encountered difficulty in entering the house due to the heavily boarded windows and doors. Eventually, they got inside to start their attack.

A second-alarm was called and several engine companies laid supply lines to the scene from hydrants around the area.

Because of the heavy fire command called for a defensive attack. They used several handlines and Ladder 3's aerial pipe.

Minneapolis fire and police officials reported a marijuana growing operation on the first and second floors of this abandoned house.
