Minnesota Crew Extricates Man from Overturn

  Firefighters and Paramedic extricated and freed a man who was trapped after his car went over the road and overturned in West St. Paul, MN, on Saturday night. South Metro Fire Department Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 were dispatched to a rollover crash on Wentworth Avenue, not too far from the fire station about 9 p.m. West St. Paul Police and paramedics from Health East were also dispatched.

South Metro Fire Department Engine 1 and Ambulance 1 were dispatched to a rollover crash on Wentworth Avenue, not too far from the fire station about 9 p.m. West St. Paul Police and paramedics from Health East were also dispatched.

Engine 1’s crew found a two-door car on its roof down a small ravine with the male driver trapped inside. They stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic rescue tools to remove the drivers side door. The man was freed within 15 minutes.

The crews from Health East transported the man to a local hospital with minor injuries.
