Vacant Building Burns in Fort Worth

  Fire ravaged a vacant building on Main Street near the famed Fort Worth Stockyards on Wednesday night. The fire was reported about 9:30 p.m. and crews initiated an defensive attack using aerial devices and hoselines. The building was partially below street level, which made it challenging to access pockets of fire. The roof collapsed into the structure as the fire raged. According to PIO Kent Worley, the investigators are searching for the cause of the fire. The building has been vacant for some time. No injuries were reported.
