New Jersey Bravest Battle Dwelling Fire

On 15 November 2004 the Waterford Twp Fire Department was dispatched to a working fire in a two story duplex.

Upon arrival crews found heavy fire from the second floor with the fire extending into the attic. Members placed two 1 3/4" handlines in operation while aggressively pulling walls and ceilings to control the fire and keep it from spreading into the exposure building.

Three engines and three trucks were used to control the all hands fire.

Waterford Township is an all volunteer department. They received automatic aid from Berlin, Winslow and Evesham for the fire which occurred at 1220 hrs.
