Yonkers, New York Firefighters Fight Three-Alarmer

At approximately 9 p.m. on November 16, 2004, the Yonkers Fire Department arrived at 1223 Yonkers Ave and found heavy smoke and flames coming from a large furniture store.

YONKERS, NY -- At approximately 9 p.m. on November 16, 2004, the Yonkers Fire Department arrived at 1223 Yonkers Ave and found heavy smoke and flames coming from a large furniture store. The furniture store, which is also the site of the former historic Kimball Theater, quickly went to three alarms as the fire also consumed an adjacent storefront.
