N.J. Crews Handle Fire

At approximately 6:30 a.m.Saturday, Stations 83, 82 and 84 were dispatched to the 700 block of Graisbury Ave in the Blenheim section for a dwelling fire. Heavy smoke was found throughout, and fire from Division C. Crews on Quint 83 and Ladder 84 commenced fire attack while E821 and E842 provided water supply and deployed a back up line. As the first floor fire was darkened, companies found collapsed floor conditions in the kitchen. The interior stairs also were located in this area and allowed for rapid fire extension to the second floor.

The fire was placed under control in 40 minutes. The fire is under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal’s office.
