Anndee Huber Memorial Dedication Takes Place In Newcastle, Wyoming

A memorial was dedicated to Anndee Micole Huber on October 23, 2004 in Newcastle, Wyoming. The date would have been her 18th birthday. Anndee was a member of Explorer Post 66, which was sponsored by the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department. Anndee was fatally injured in a water tender rollover, May 22, 2003, while enroute to assist in setting up a water refill station at a wildland fire.

Family, friends, and firefighters from nearby departments joined the Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department for a very emotional ceremony. The dedication opened with the presentation of the flags by the Color Guard and the singing of the national anthem by local High School student, Hans Hunt. Pastor Mick Bohn talked about the purpose of a memorial and gave the invocation. Assistant Chief, Donny Munger, Explorer Chief, Ryan Hieb, Anndee
