On Aug. 20 at 10:30 p.m. the Fallowfield Twp., Pa. Vol. Fire Co. responded to
reports of a tree on a vehicle in the 1200 block of route 481 in Fallowfield.
Chief Fleming After verified that no power lines were present. It was determined
that two occupants were trapped and injured.
Once the tree was removed, the Rescue/Engine crew of three along with Asst. Chief
Popelas began stabilizing the vehicle and setting up the Genesis Rescue System.
The patients were extricated from the vehicle in about 10 minutes and turned over
to EMS for further evaluation. Crews remained on scene assisted the tow truck
operator and Penn Dot crews with clean up.
