Firefighters battled 2 alarm blaze at an abandoned apartment building in Inglewood, California.
The call came in shortly after 3:30pm on Thursday October 8, 2004. It began on the second floor and quickly spread throughout the building.
Six engines and four ladder trucks from LA Co. FD responded to the scene, only to find the building fully involved, when they arrived.
With an occupied apartment building next door, they initiated a successful attack and had the fire under control in 30 minuntes.
The damage was estimated at $800,000 and the cause under investigation.
