On Sunday, September 9, 2004, Harlem-Roscoe Fire from Roscoe, Illinois responded to a 911 call for a couch on fire in the middle of the road. The remains of a sattelite dish also rested on the burning couch.

The department's mini-pumper, 763 arrived on scene and Firefighter Jeff Morris quickly extinguished the fire.

The fire is under investigation, but one can only theorize that some sports fanatic really upset his wife and now he's not going to get to watch football this fall.
